Burlington -- Please see below for an update on Pine St work for tomorrow, North Ave paving beginning tomorrow and Beltline work beginning next week.
-------
PINE ST:
Beginning at 7AM tomorrow 11/1, DPW's contractor will be restoring the curbing and pavement that was removed as a result of last week's water main break on Pine St, just north of Birchcliff Parkway. See a description of travel impacts below, and please note that businesses are open!
TRAVEL IMPACTS (beginning at approximately 5:30AM):
Northbound travel – Pine Street will be temporarily northbound travel only. Please use caution as the travel lane will shift.
Southbound travel – A detour will be set up which will route you onto Lakeside Ave, through the adjacent parking lot, onto Sears Lane and back southbound onto Pine. There will be signage helping direct you on your way.
WEDNESDAY PINE WORK
Note that DPW Water Resources will be repairing a leaking valve at Pine and Birchcliff. At this time, no traffic pattern changes or water service disruptions are planned. Water customers in the vicinity should be aware of this work and call 802-863-4501 for any urgent water questions or if you notice disruptions to your service. For less urgent matters, please email water-resources@burlingtonvt.gov.
--------------
NORTH AVE: Beginning at approximately 7AM tomorrow (11/1), our contractor will be paving North Avenue between Ethan Allen Parkway and Shore Rd. We anticipate maintaining two way travel most times, but please plan extra time for your travel. This work is scheduled for 11/1-11/3.
BELTLINE: The bridge at the Beltline above the railroad tracks is scheduled for milling and paving on November 7th. Both approaches will be closed while this work is underway. Please plan an alternate route this day.
During construction, weather or unanticipated impacts may extend or delay work. We appreciate your patience during these impotant projects. If you have any questions, please reach us at 802-863-9094 or DPWCommunications@burlingtonvt.gov
