At the entrance to UVMMC in Burlington, a vehicle hit a fire hydrant causing a water main break. Traffic on Colchester Ave may be constrained. Seek alternate routes or expect travel delays as crews fix the break.
While there was not a disruption of water service, we ask that customers refrain from using excess water for irrigation to allow us to restore our water storage reservoir levels back up after the main breaks. You can and should use water for your normal domestic and business needs.
