Shelburne Street Roundabout Traffic Pattern Change for January 5 & 6

Shelburne Street Roundabout 

DATE: Wednesday, January 5, 2022 

 A Section of Shelburne Street Reduced to One-Way Alternating Traffic in Burlington, VT
 
Burlington, VT – Starting TODAY, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 9AM, Shelburne Street will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic between Gove Court and Adams Court.   
On Wednesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 6, Shelburne Street will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic between Gove Court and Adams Court between the hours of 9AM and 3PM to allow for exploratory digging for waterline work. Flaggers will be present to assist motorists through the work zone. Expect delays. 
 
The existing detour on US 7/Shelburne Street will remain in place and is strongly encouraged to avoid lengthy delays. The existing US 7/Shelburne Street detour directs traffic out of the project area via Flynn Avenue, Pine Street, and Howard Street. The existing required truck detour will remain in place and detour trucks out of the project area via Flynn Avenue, Pine Street, and Main Street.
