At 7:35 a.m. today, the excavators working on the VTRANS project at the VT Route 116 and CVU Road intersection broke the water line serving VT Route 116 North. All water customers on VT Route 116, north of the CVU Road intersection, including Place Rd. West and Hickory Place, are currently without water service.
The break is being repaired as quickly as possible. However, a Boil Water Order will be in effect when service is restored until the water tests clean and we are released from the Order by the State of Vermont.
