The City of Montpelier will begin reopening State Street to Main and Main Street, both northbound & southbound as well through the intersection of State St.
East State Street will remain closed until further notice.

State Street and surrounding street, and Main Street and surrounding streets have barricaded access to vehicles and pedestrians due to a gas leak.
The Montpelier Fire Department and Police Department are aware of the situation and advice all motorist and pedestrians to avoid transit in these areas.
