Town of Johnson - Flood Watch In Effect

A flood watch remains in effect for all of Vermont through the weekend. Here in Johnson we are issuing a flood warning. We are likely to see flooding. The forecast predicts a significant amount of rain which is likely to overwhelm our already taxed river system. Expect flooding in low-lying and other vulnerable areas. As conditions develop and change we will communicate the most up to date information via VT-Alert.
Everyone should be signed up for VT-Alert at https://vem.vermont.gov/vtalert to stay up to date with current emergency information.
