Please click here to acknowledge receipt of this message

Burlington - DPW's contractor will be working on short term sewer repairs on Pearl St this week. Please follow-on street signage, road crew directions and plan for minor delays to travel and potential alternative parking arrangements. No service disruptions are anticipated during this work.

• Beginning on Tuesday (6/7) at approximately 7AM and lasting one work day, work will occur on Pearl at Williams St. The road will be open to one lane traffic alternating with flagger control. There may be stretches of 'no parking.' No services are expected to be impacted during this work.

• Beginning on Wednesday (6/8) at approximately 7AM and lasting one work day, work will occur on Pearl at Willard St. Pearl St will be closed westbound and detoured. 'No parking' signs will be posted and meters west of Willard will be bagged. No services are expected to be impacted during this work.

Schedules may occasionally need to shift and we appreciate your patience.

The sewer work is in support of the City's Clean Water Resiliency Plan – which is the first phase of upgrading and modernizing the wastewater & stormwater system. Recently, the City completed major upgrades at all 3 wastewater treatment plants, rebuilt two pump stations, installed over a dozen green stormwater infrastructure systems and this year has 8 miles of sewer/storm pipe repair under contract.
