VT ALERT Quiet Time

VT ALERT allows you to limit hours when you'll receive phone calls for non-emergency events like routine weather watches. Set up "Quiet Times" in your VT ALERT profile to turn off phone calls, or texts or emails, between certain hours.

Log into your VT ALERT account and click on My Profile (Edit). At the bottom right of each Contact Information listing, there is a link to "Add Quiet Time". You can enter a name (like "overnight"), choose the days you want, and then select the times you don't want to be called.

This disables the routine advisories, watches, warnings, etc., but VT ALERT can override the quiet time if there is an imminent life-safety threat.
