VT ALERT - SEVERE WEATHER ALERT - HEAVY RAIN FOLLOWED BY DROPPING TEMPERATURES AND MEASURABLE ICING

The Town of Milton would like to warn people about a storm starting this evening and lasting into Sunday. Please make sure to check the weather before you head out. Our Highway, Police, Fire and Rescue Departments met Friday morning to discuss and plan for the impending storm. This is a dangerous storm and will likely cause very slippery road conditions, power outages and falling trees. We will do our best to keep roads open and provide emergency services. However, in some circumstances we may not be able to provide these essential life-saving services. Ice covered roads and driveways are treacherous and may prevent us from getting to you in case of an emergency. Please stay off the roads in bad weather unless necessary. Thank you.

Don Turner, Town Manager
