11.01.2019 Putney VT SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT: Fire Chief Goddard reports 28 separate outages in Putney with 160 customers affected. GMP has multiple crews in town working on these areas. If you are traveling on Putney roads and come across a tree down on WIRES please do not go near it. DOWNED WIRES call 9-1-1. Trees blocking a road contact 387.5730 and leave a detailed message or contact the Town Hall at 387.5862 x11. Surrounding towns are experiencing the same issues or extreme issues. Wind may become stronger throughout the afternoon. Shelter in place if you can. Check on your neighbors and report downed trees & power lines. Stay safe Putney.
