Due to water main breaks, there is a boil water notice in effect immediately for customers on East Montpelier Road, Gallison Hill Road, and Country Club Road. Water service has been turned off on Main Street from Barre to the Main Street bridge (near Shaws) due to another break. Drivers are advised to avoid the area or expect delays. Once the repair is made and water is restored, there will be a boil water notice in effect for that area. The boil water notices will be in effect until further notice. We will keep you updated.
