We would also like to remind the public of the following:

Please keep your heating exhaust vents clear as an obstructed vent can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Please check on your neighbors over the next week, this amount of snow and cold tend to have our elderly neighbors confined to their homes until the snow is cleared and the cold weather moves on.

Please try to clear the snow in front of your fire hydrants so that it is more accessible to the Fire Department in case of an emergency.

Please do not plow snow into the water ways anywhere within the City limits. This may result in a fine assessed for your actions.

Thank you all for your cooperation and please stay safe for the upcoming weather. If you have any questions or concerns please call (802) 476-0254 and please speak to the on Duty Fire Officer.
